Week 5 - 4.5.2020

Welcome to another week of Home Learning!

As we enter our fifth week of learning at home, I wanted to remind you all that you are doing an amazing job! It goes without saying that I miss you all each and every single day and that although we are not together, my pride, admiration and appreciation for you all has continued to grow. Keep going, keep smiling and keep having fun! Thank you all for being brilliant!

On to this week…

I hope you enjoyed learning about the Industrial Revolution last week – I was inundated with photos, Power Points and updates, and it was clear to see how much effort you had all been putting in. This week’s writing will once again be inspired by our new topic. As always, if you would like feedback on your writing, please email it to me, either as a photograph or a typed document.

Our Math’s learning continues to build on our knowledge and understanding of decimals. Please continue to watch the videos and complete the follow-up activities.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your Science videos last week – there were some very noisy houses (sorry parents)! Sound continues to be our focus for learning this week with another practical experiment – enjoy!

Finally, this Thursday, I will be setting you all a very important secret mission. I have therefore made sure your other lessons (Maths and Writing) are shorter on Thursday so that you can give this project your full attention. Keep you eyes on this page on Wednesday afternoon when all will be revealed!
