Easter

Happy Easter Holidays!

I want to say a huge well done to everyone - your attitude and effort towards ‘home learning’ has been incredible! I also want to thank you all for all of your lovely comments about the termly reports that you have received this week.

As it is the Easter holidays, there is no expectation to complete any work. Some of you may like to have some structure and therefore I have uploaded some resources that can be accessed independently (with little guidance). I have also shared with you the Easter SATs revision packs which I ordinarily would have sent out if we were still on the ‘preparation journey’ towards your exams. Although you are not completing a SATs exam anymore, the resources are really beneficial in revising what you already know and consolidating your understanding. They follow a concept of ’10 questions in 10 minutes’ for SPAG, reading and maths. For reading and SPAG there is one booklet for all; for maths there are 3 differentiated books: working towards, expected and greater depth.

If you want a challenge over Easter, you could consider setting yourself a reading word count challenge or having a goal of reading 3 different books over the holidays. Keep a record of this and you can share it with me in the next couple of weeks!

If you are struggling for fun ideas of activities to do over this break, take a look at this week’s first news - page 10 and 11.

I hope you all enjoy the Easter break, I know it will be completely different to normal but make the most of spending quality time with your family! Be there for one another and stay safe!

Take Care,

Miss Harrison
