Bedtime ideas:

Switching off after at day of home-learning can be hard. Try out these bath time ideas to support end of the day routines.

 

Bath time: 

Spend some time making paper boats to use in the bath. Try making them from different materials and seeing which one stays afloat the longest! How to Make a Paper Boat: 10 Steps (with Pictures) - wikiHow

 

Try playing with different toys in the bath; lego, dolls, cars?!

 

Glow-sticks in the water a great; especially if you turn the lights off!

 

Why not spray some shaving foam on the side of the bath and write or draw in it?

Get outside!

Go for a short walk round the block at lunchtime, children love to copy adults so take a lidded cup with your favorite drink in and chat about what you can see.

 

Go to the park in the dark with an adult, wear a head torch or carry a torch and have fun while its quiet. (We pinched this one from one of our Year 1 children!)

 

On a clear night go outside and spot stars. See how many constellations you can recognise. You might be able to download an app for a phone to help you spot them.
