Task 2: Planning Stage
Look at the pictures below (setting and characters) to gather your vocabulary and phrases for your story. When describing the characters, please consider both their physical appearance and their personality traits. When describing the setting, please consider the start contrast between each of the settings. When collating your ideas, remember to consider:
- New vocabulary (use a thesaurus)
- Expanded noun phrases (this can include a relative clause)
- Similes
- Metaphors
- Personification
- Alliteration
- Onomatopoeia
