Hello families,
We hope you have all had a lovely week in the sun!
As we are all still working from home, we know that lots of you will be missing one of our yearly highlights – Sports Day. This week, we have been working together to bring Sports Day to you! So get your trainers, your water bottle and PE kits at the ready because next week is 'Virtual Sports Week'!
Over the course of the week, we would like you to complete as many of our sporting challenges as you can. You can choose whichever activities appeal most to you, you can do them in whatever order you prefer and you can decide how, when and where they are done.
As always, we will be competing in our house teams – Earth, Water, Fire and Air. For every activity that you complete, you will be awarded 10 points for your house team. The more activities you complete, the more points your house will earn. Please record your challenges on the ‘Record your Results’ sheet and email it to Miss Fletcher (Key Stage 2) or Miss Harper (Key Stage 1 and Early Years) by 1:00 on Friday (with your name and your house clearly labelled). Once we have received them all, we will collate the results and announce the winning house.
We know that some of you will want to take the competition to the next level, so if you would like to be named a ‘champion of a challenge’, send us a video of you completing a particular challenge and once we’ve received them all, we will name the champion.
As we would normally spend Sports Day altogether, supporting each other and cheering each other on, we would love to receive photographs or videos of you completing the challenges so that we can share them, altogether.
We hope you have a wonderful week and we look forward to announcing the winning team.
Take care,
Miss Fletcher and Miss Harper
