Shapes and Symmetry!

We have had such a fun week looking at patterns and 2D shapes, naming them and describing them! Today, see if you can look at symmetrical patterns! Can you make your own symmetrical picture? You can use the ideas below or think of your own! If you have paints at home, you could fold a piece of paper in half, paint on one side of it, then fold it over and see your paint pattern mirrored on the other side! If you have small mirror in your house, ask your grown up to hold the mirror next to objects and patterns so you can see the pattern in the mirror too!
