Funky Fingers:

To help with our writing we do lots of fine motor activities in class to help develop our finger movements. Our favourite is dough disco, you can access this on YouTube. We also do activities that involve the use of tweezers, pegs and threading.

Handwriting: 

Handwriting is an ongoing skill that we are skill practising. Have a go at practising some letters in your exercise book. 

Writing task:

Plan and write a short story about the dragon that came to visit our school. Think about ideas such as: where he came from; how he got in and why he came to visit. Remember, you need a beginning (who and where), middle (what happens in the story? What is the problem?) and an ending (is it a happy ending or a sad ending? What happens?).
