Task 2: Planning Stage 

Look at the pictures below (Paper's habitat, Rock's habitat and Scissors' habitat) to gather your vocabulary and phrases for your setting description. When describing the setting, please consider the five senses (see, smell, touch, hear, taste) and the stark contrast between each of them. 

When collating your ideas, remember to consider: 

- New vocabulary (use a thesaurus) 

- Expanded noun phrases (this can include a relative clause) 

- Similes

- Metaphors

- Personification 

- Alliteration 

- Onomatopoeia
