What a day: Stoke City hosted a fantastic day of football for Y6. Thanks Mr Eley for taking us.

“Yesterday, Thursday, 22nd May, was an excitement for the Year 6 boys because an exclusive trip took place to the Brittanie Stadium in Stoke.  They went there to simply play football against numerous different school teams for a trophy (if you won).  There were real competitors on the other school teams.  The real importance of it was to take part.  Unfortunately, our team didn’t make it far enough to be victorious but at the end of the day they were still applauded by the other schools and came back with smiles on their faces.”

Hello children and parents and welcome back to Term 3. I hope you had a lovely break and enjoyed the super weather.

I've added some new websites which will help us with our last push up towards SAT's week. Try the links below.

During week 3, the children are invited into school from 8:30 onwards where we will supply toast (children can bring in any spread they enjoy). They may bring in any lucky mascot, not too large though please.

We will endeavour to make the week as enjoyable as possible with alternative afternoons. I know there will be nerves and we've chatted this through; all we ask is for you, the children , to try your best - anything else is a bonus, we are proud of your achievements already.

We've started to read through our production, 'Blast from the Past', and parts will be given out soon - very exciting.

Thanks parents for your ongoing support, you know where I am should you need to contact me.

Many thanks ,

Mrs V.
