Welcome back to our third and final term in year 3 – where has the time gone? I hope you all had a wonderful and enjoyable Easter break.
I know the children are already very excited about the term ahead because we are learning all about the Romans. This will be our history-based topic that will also inspire lots of creative writing and wonderful art. In science we will be learning about plants, the children will have the opportunity to grow their own plants and observe and investigate what is needed to support their growth. During our P.E sessions we will be practicing our netball, hockey, rounder’s and athletic skills. Please could you ensure that children have P.E kits in school at all times to enable us to be flexible with our curriculum time and to adapt to the unpredictable weather, P.E. will be outdoors as much as possible.
Please look at for the new, creative homework projects coming home. These are an ongoing project that should be added to and built upon as the half term progresses. Children will be able to choose from a range of projects and letters detailing these will be sent out shortly.
