This is what Summer term curriculum will look like:

Dear Parents and children of Year 6,

Welcome back to our final term in year 6 and the final term at Cooper Perry. The Easter holidays went quickly and hopefully everyone's excited about the coming term.

We have many events in store:

London Trip/work experience; Sports Day; End of year production; Year Book Writing; Spelling Bee Competition; Our final coffee morning;  Bikeability; School Disco to name a few events alongside transition meetings at: High School and Cooper Perry, where your children will have an opportunity to taste the life of a High School student. The next few weeks will go all too quickly and we will do all we can to make the transition smooth, calm and exciting (if we can offer you support you know where to find us.)

I have enclosed a copy of our medium term plan for the term so you can see what our learning will look like. National assessments are 9th May -13th see time table attached. We will aim to create a week as stress free a week as is possible and ensure your children feel it is an opportunity to show off their skills in a positive way. Y6 will be open from 8:30 each morning that week for breakfast. We will supply toast and squash if you could send in a spread of your child's wish we'd be grateful. Chewing gum and a small desk top mascot are also welcome that week.

As always this web page will keep both you and the children updated with: events, homework and information. If you need to clarify any thing you know where we are, or place a phone call for the team to respond to or email me:

Thank you, as always for your ongoing support,

Michelle Vogtlander and The year 6 Team
