You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities. It should also help you learn to live peacefully, protect the environment and respect other people.
What insects did you find?
What did they look like?
Can you describe them?
Where did you find them? Why do you think they like to live there?
This week (wb 9.2.15) has been very busy for year 1!
We started our week with an informative visit to the Gurdwara in Stafford. Surinder showed us around, gave us an insight to life at Gurdwara and answered all of our questions. We learnt a lot and appreciated the welcome they gave us. The children showed outstanding behaviour and engaged with this experience well. We are very proud of them being exceptional representatives of our school.
We have then had fun designing and creating our very own playground equipment as part of D&T week. The models were carefully built and then evaluated so that our final product was sturdy and strong.
Please see below pictures of our exciting week!
Thank you to all of you who came to parents evening to discuss your child's progress so far and thank you for your support this half term.
Below are a few websites you may want to use when researching Florence Nightingale.
