Don't forget to complete your Viking projects over Easter, due Wednesday 26th April.
Reading Challenge: Read a book over the Easter holidays and then bring it with you to school on Monday 24th ready for book club.
We all had a much better nights sleep last night. All the children were fast asleep by ten thirty.
A hearty breakfast has been enjoyed and we are all packed and ready to go. We are off now to enjoy todays activities.
See you later!
We have had a fantastic day today, the children thoroughly enjoyed raft building (even though some of them got very wet). We then went onto afternoon activities after another fab lunch! Tonight we are enjoying a night in the mansion with a fire and songs.
Good morning parents, we have had a great finst night (other than the children being up very early). They have all had lots of sleep and are raring to go! I think we are all ready for a big breakfast, to then hit the water. Look out for pictures tonight!
Miss Harrison and the team
I had the pleasure of spending the day and evening with your delightful children. The weather was amazing and they experienced: archery, climbing and abseiling, The meals were delicious and everyone tucked in with gusto. Borreatton is a beautiful location and your children are having so much fun and space.
Photos will be posted by Miss Harrison when she gets 5 minutes.

This term is a very exciting one. The topics that we are going to cover are the Snow Queen and the Vikings, which will be integrated into a number of subjects across the curriculum. Last term, we began our new Science topic – Electricity. We will be continuing with this before moving onto Materials.
In P.E. we will be taking our lessons inside, beginning with Dance and then Gymnastics. However, it is also useful to have an outdoor kit in school (tracksuit bottoms, supportive trainers and a warm jumper).
Homework will continue to be set on a weekly and overnight basis. Mental Maths revision, spellings, reading comprehension and times tables will be set on a weekly basis. Please can you also continue to read with your child at home.
Please keep in touch if you have any questions or concerns, you can email me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
