Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year to you all. I do hope you have a safe and relaxing Christmas. Thank you very much for all of your generous seasonal wishes, cards and gifts.
During the course of this term the children are going to become Polar experts! We are very excited to be learning all about the Arctic and Antarctic focusing upon: Polar explorers, environment, wildlife, indigenous population and explorers. This topic will be used to inspire and weave through: Literacy, Art, Geography, History and D and T. Our Science will focus upon the topics of: electricity and staying healthy. P.E will take place in the hall and when possible outside therefore, please ensure your child has warm kit available as our weather turns inclement. I will not , however, be taking the children out if the weather is unsuitable.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mr Gibbs to our class - Mr Gibbs is a year 3 Associate Training Teacher and will be spending the next term supporting our class.
Keep looking on this page for up to date information - as always if you have any concerns or questions you can contact me via: the main switchboard, at the end of the day or email.
Thank you for your continued support.

Hi there,
Homework this week is related to our learning all about adverbs. For clarification, there is no spelling homework this week. Spellings will be sent out next week; for testing after the Easter holiday.
Thank you
