Our FABULOUS Shakespearean costumes during Arts Week!

Here we are putting our new sawing skills to the test, as well as using our enormous creativity, to design, make and evaluate kites in DT.

Friday 4th March: Year 4 are Class of the Week!! Largely, this is due to our incredible, accurate, and very safe, use of junior hacksaws! A huge congratulations from a very proud Miss Wheat!

Our Viking Day was a HUGE success - the children loved every minute! We learnt SO much more about Viking life and we were also able to share our previous learning with our Viking friend, who was very impressed! Photos will follow shortly smiley

This half term, in Art, Year 4 have been exploring the work of Michaelangelo and have focused on bodies. Photos below reveal some of their amazing work...

In our maths lesson today (Thursday 28th January), we learnt to recognise decimals and their equivalent fractions. The website below contains a range of games designed to practice these skills. If you could encourage your child to use these sites to develop their mathematics understanding it would be very much appreciated :) http://mathsframe.co.uk/en/resources/category/472/recognise_and_write_decimal_equivalents_of_any_number_of_tenths_or_hundredths

Hello families!

Welcome back. I hope you all had a magical Christmas! The children have shared some lovely stories and are now fully back into the swing of school life. This week has been a fantastic start - the children have really proved how beautifully they can behave and how determined they are to learn as much as they possibly can. Let's keep it up!!

Please explore the attached document - it contains our topics for this term. The children are beyond excited about... THE VIKINGS!

As always, please contact me in person at the end of the day or via email to share any concerns or if you would like to celebrate your child's achievements (in and out of school - we love to hear what other exciting things they get up to when they're not here).
