Harvest Festival- we have given back to our community this Harvest Festival in Reception. On Monday we were very busy chopping, peeling and cutting up vegetables to make a soup! The soup was cooked in a slow cooker and boxed to hand out to local residents by Year 5. We tried some of the soup and it was delicious!

We had a great surprise today! At the church over the road from school there was a wedding. We went outside and waitied very patiently to see the bride (she was very late!). After we saw her in her beautiful lace dress, we were able to sit in a traditional red bus! The bus had brought the guests to the church. We went on the top deck, lower deck and even sat in the drivers seat! This afternoon we painted pictures of brides, grooms and buses.
